How to use the Request a 3D Model, Texture or Photo By Req™ tool on Flat Pyramid.

Our Request a 3D model, Request a Texture or Photo by Req™ Content tools were setup to enable Members make specific requests for products by filling out the appropriate content form. Any Member who has or can provide the requested content can respond to this request by making the content available on Flat Pyramid. The requestor will be immediately notified upon the fulfillment of their request.

How to request a 3D Model, Texture or Photo.

You need to register with Flat Pyramid in other to use any of the Request Content tools.

• Create a Flat Pyramid account, Login and go to the category that interests you. If you cant find what you are looking for, click on the Request a Content link.



• You would be taken to a page with a request form where you can input specific requirements like a short description of what you need, date required, file formats, price, etc. You also have the option to upload reference images, blueprints and sketches to further explain your request. After you have filled out this form, click on the ”Request” button.



• Your request will then be posted on the Review Requested Photos, Models and Textures section in the Flat Pyramid Forums where Members can review your request and respond.

There are 2 types of responses you can receive after making a request.

1. You could be asked for further information from interested Members or Sellers.
   
   
2. You could be linked directly to the product by interested Members or Sellers who have what you need.

You will be notified by email whenever someone responds to your request.

You will normally receive responses and links from a number of Members or Sellers. You have an option to choose only the product that satisfies your requirements, purchase it or decline.

Your privacy is protected at all times through out the process. Your User ID and contact details are not displayed so users will not contact you directly if you don’t want them to.

How to respond to a requested content.

You need to have a Flat Pyramid Seller account in other to respond to requests.

Create a Flat Pyramid Seller account, Login and go to the Review Requested Photos, Models and Textures section of the Forum to see the requests made.

If you have or can provide what is being requested in any category, you can respond by either:

1. Uploading and publishing the requested product as part of your collection and then linking the buyer to it using the “Link buyer to product” link. Or ask the buyer for more information regarding the requested product, using the “Ask the buyer a question” link.
   
   
2. If you already have a product as part of your collection and you think it meets the buyer’s requirements, you can just link the buyer to the product.

The buyer/Customer has the option to either buy your product if it meets the required specification or decline.
