The Agni-2P (Prime) intermediate ballistic missile is the next generation of the Agni-2 series of ballistic missiles. First tested in 2011, the 2P medium range ballistic missile features the new composite materials which DRDO's R&D are employing into the Agni-V development. The Prime is reported to carry a RV at a range of 2500-3000 km.
