The 2010 Chevrolet Camaro falls under the fifth generation of the Camaro series. It was manufactured by American automobile manufacturer Chevrolet from 2010 to 2015 model years. It was originally introduced in the year 1967. Production of the fifth generation model began on March 16, 2009.
By spring 2005, the first concept car of the fifth-generation of the Camaro was in development. Several sketches of the exterior and interior were drawn to resemble of how the car was going to look, these were publicized after several months.
The Camaro was made available as a coupe in five different trim levels, the LS, 1LT, 2LT, 1SS, and 2SS. The LS and LT trim levels are powered by the 3,564 cc GM LLT V6 engine which has a power output of 312 hp at 6,400 rpm and 370 Nm of torque at 5,200 rpm.
Other features include a fully independent four wheel suspension system, variabvle-rate power steering, four wheel disc brakes standard on all models.
The Camaro was unveiled at the Warren Technical Center, followed by GM Holden’s Melbourne headquarters, Yokohama Red Brick Park, and summer sonic 2010. US model went on sale in the first quarter of 2009.
