3D Model by Behr_Bros.

Accurate very high definition human Heart 3D model. Included with this 3d model is a version that can be opened and a closed. The model has been created using a 3D scan of a anatomical correct heart model as reference. It includes modeling of details like the blood vessels and heart valves.
High resolution textures (mostly 2048x2048) were applied so this 3d model can be used for close up renderings.

Max Format:
Meshsmooth is applied so you can set the object resolution as you like. The closed version of the 3d model in max format and also the version of the heart which can be opened and the different parts are organized in layers.

Obj Format:
Both versions, the closed version, the version of the heart which can be opened are available in 3 different resolutions ranging from 11249 to 176728 Polygons for the closed version and 16992 to 266384 Polygons for the openable version. The lowest poly-version is the SubD. hull. So you can use it easily as SubD in Maya/XSI or any Software supporting subdivision.

Lwo Format:
Both versions, the closed version, the version of the heart which can be opened are available in 3 different resolutions ranging from 11249 to 176728 Polygons closed version and 16992 to 266384 Polygons openable version. The lowest poly-version is the SubD. hull. So you can use it easily as SubD in Maya/XSI or any Software supporting SubD.

3ds Format:
Both versions, the closed version, the version of the heart which can be opened are available in 3 different resolutions ranging from 21681 to 353456 Polygons closed version and 32591 to 532768 Polygons openable version.

In the cavity of the heart and in the walls of large vessels there are receptors that perceive the fluctuations in blood pressure. Nerve impulses coming from these receptors cause reflexes that adjust the work of the heart to the needs of the body. The impulse commands about the restructuring of the heart come from the nerve centers of the medulla oblongata and the spinal cord. Parasympathetic nerves transmit impulses that reduce the heart rate, sympathetic nerves deliver impulses that increase the frequency of contractions. Any physical activity, accompanied by the connection to the work of a large group of muscles, even a simple change in body position, requires correction of the heart and can excite the center, accelerating the activity of the heart. Pain stimuli and emotions can also change the rhythm of the heart.

Israeli scientists first created a human heart with blood vessels and cells on a 3D printer. It was made in miniature, but according to the researchers, the same technology can be used to print a heart of normal size, and some procedures will be conducted to make this. The printed organ consists of the patient's fat cells, which were transformed into stem cells of the cardiovascular muscle, and then mixed with connective tissue and placed in a 3D printer. In future it could be used for heart transplants and hospitals around the world would use such technologies. Powerful organ printers had printed an entire heart.

"For the first time we printed tissues and cells from material taken from a person and created such a complex heart geometry. All hearts that were printed before, as far as we know, are made from synthetic and other materials that were not taken from the patient himself," the graduate student says University of Tel Aviv Nadav Noor.
