Kawasaki W800 Street is a retro bike and is inspired by the Kawasaki W1. It is being offered in a single variant and sports a solo colour scheme of metallic flat spark black/metallic matte graphite grey. The Kawasaki W800 is a parallel twin motorcycle produced by Kawasaki from 2011 to 2016, and then since 2019. The W800 is a retro style model that replaced the W650, which was produced from 1999 to 2007. Unlike the W650, the W800 does not have a kickstart. Engine specifications on the Kawasaki W800 Street include a 773 cc air cooled, parallel twin engine offering 47 PS power at 6,500 rpm and 62.9 Nm torque at 4,800 rpm mated to a 5 speed gearbox.
The retro style includes a highly polished, gloss-painted and pinstriped fuel tank, as well as a ribbed saddle, wire wheels and a special W-logo on both sides of the tank, which refers to the W1-model. Unlike the Kawasaki Z900RS, the W800 Street offers a more simplistic experience. It has simple underpinnings in the form of a double-cradle frame, a 41mm conventional telescopic fork and dual shock absorbers. Despite being large on capacity, the 773cc parallel-twin motor is low on power thanks to its simple engine architecture.
