3D Model by arkviz

High resolution and very accurate 3d model created according to real reference. Native format is Cinema 4d R20, model can use Hypernurbs subdivision. Other formats are exported in one resolution. This can be further subdivided. Exported formats 3ds, max, fbx and obj are prepared well to work correctly with every standard modeling software such as Maya, Lightwave etc... Using FBX file for import is strongly recommended, because it preserves basic material properties, objects hierarchy, uvw coordinates and quad geometry. 3ds format preserves basic material properties, hierarchy and uvw coordinates, but all geometry is triangular. Max format includes hierarchy, quad geometry and standard materials. OBJ format preserves only quad geometry and uvw coordinates. Each format of model (except for OBJ) has hierarchy of parents and children objects ready to animate manually or using any car animation plugin. All mesh parts separated by material are jointed under one empty (no polygons) object used as their pivot. All materials, textures and objects are sorted well to make Your own materials for special render engines.

ONLY native c4d version has some special following features. It is animated using Xpresso (no keyframes), Model in c4d format includes exterior and interior lighting, automatic reverse and brake lights.

Textures are included with all files, main texture's size is 3072x3072 pixels split onto these channels - xxx_tex.jpg (diffuse color), xxx_bum.jpg (bump), xxx_spe.jpg (specular color and intensity), xxx_ref.jpg (reflectance intensity), xxx_lum.jpg (luminance color). C4D version comes with standard materials. Previews were rendered using Cinema 4d R20 Stusio, Physical renderer. Model scale is unit millimeters. Environment scene where the car is placed is not included!
This model was created, saved and exported from Cinema 4d R20. Compatibility level with other versions may be restricted due to changes in versions of software.

The Mercury Montego was a US-American, belonging to the Ford group automobile manufacturer Mercury from 1967 to 1976 and from 2004 to 2007 produced model of the local intermediate class (upper middle class).

The name Montego used Ford for the first time in 1966/67 on a model sold only in Canada brand Meteor.

The Montego of the 1960s / 1970s was the successor of the Mercury Comet and the parallel model to the Ford Torino.

The Montego from 2004 to 2007 was the successor of the Mercury Sable and sister model of the Ford Five Hundred.

The Mercury Montego developed parallel to the Ford Torino. Just as the Torino was introduced in 1968 as a higher-quality version of the Ford Fairlane, the Montego initially presented an exclusive version of the Fairlane Mercury Comet counterpart dar. At the beginning of the model year in 1970, the model designation Ford Fairlane and Mercury was renamed Comet, so that the Middle-class models now uniformly Ford Torino and Mercury Montego were called.

The Montego was in the years 1968 and 1969 as a coupe, sedan, convertible and station wagon in the equipment versions Basis and MX. The drive was a 3.3-liter six-cylinder or V8 engines with displacement of 4.9 to 7.0 liters. Derived from the Montego was the sporty version Cyclone. In 1969, the base engine was enlarged to 4.1 liters.

For the years of construction 1970 and 1971, the Montego received a redesigned body. She was still constructed self-supporting. The Montego had unlike its Ford counterpart Torino a clearly prominent grille in the so-called Knudsen style and optionally were covered headlights ordered. The Montego was still powered by large six- and eight-cylinder engines with capacities of 4.1 and 7.2 liters. From 1970, the model range divided into Montego, Montego MX and MX Brougham.

The Montego of the first generation produced a total of around 371,000 units.
