Boeing 717 - jet passenger aircraft, produced by concern Boeing. The McDonnell Douglas MD-95 aircraft, renamed the Boeing 717 after Boeing acquired Douglas aircraft manufacturing plants in August 1997, was the last model produced from the 1960s on the Douglas DC-9 and MD-80/90 aircraft. The first flight of the Boeing 717 was made on September 2, 1998. Operated since October 12, 1999. Produced from 1995 to May 23, 2006. Total built 156 aircraft.
