Karosa SD11 is a bus produced by karosa from the Czech Republic. It is a long-distance coach which was assembled from 1963 to 1983 and later on it was succeeded by Karosa LC 735 in 1983. The Karosa SD11 is totally different from the model of Skoda 706 RTO-LUX that was carrying engine in the front with two doors. It is comprised of the Skoda ML 634 engine, which gives the power output of 154, 4 kW. It has semi self- supporting the body with form and a manual gearbox in the middle between the wheels of coach.
The rear wheels are propulsive and the front axle is independent that’s why rear axle s made from solid material. The air suspension is mounted over all the axles. The seats are high padded, whereas on the right side you may see one door. The driver seat doesn’t have any different compartment that differentiates a driver from the rest of the passenger.
Now karosa SD11 is not operated as a commercial or public transport vehicle but used as a historical vehicle.
