Recreating World of Warcraft with UE4 & Megascans

Wiktor Öhman revealed his stunning World of Warcraft scene in Unreal and shared a 10-minute breakdown.

Inspired by the release of WoW Classic, the artist from Quixel decided to recreate the gates of Orgrimmar in UE4.

The whole project was created using Megascans (materials, atlases, and 3D assets), Unreal Engine, Quixel Mixer, Maya, and Mixer. “Creating a fantasy environment was a breath of fresh air having mostly worked on sci-fi and contemporary environments recently. I had an absolute blast working on this, and I hope you enjoy it,” wrote Öhman.
