The design of the building is a playful response to the restrictions imposed by the building regulations and the accommodation program of the various floors and develops an enveloping figure that includes all the activities of the bank. The continuity of the building envelope gives staff and customers a sense of identity, while the volumetric layout of the building gives it a prominent place in the city's appearance. It is composed of aluminum sandwich panels whose color can awaken associations with coins or the identity of the bank. The narrow window openings at calculated positions on the facades meet the need to filter people working in front of a computer against glare. This basic idea, mentioned in the explanatory report accompanying the competition registration, was further developed and developed. To the east and west, the building is surrounded by a metal facade made of Alucobond panels perforated by windows arranged in a specially developed arrangement. This arrangement allows for unknown views on the outside, but also offers the staff an almost intimate working atmosphere and provides glare protection for those working on computers. The amount of glazing is based on the guidelines for workplace lighting. This allows a large solid wall surface which, thanks to its physical qualities (good thermal insulation and good heat storage), helps to optimize the energy balance of the building. The full-height glass facades on the south side offer magnificent views of the Wulka Plain and, thanks to regulating elements (sun protection system), can penetrate the building or filter most of it.
