Buildings are structures that are made to accommodate people. These can be either residential, commercial, educational or a place to offer prayer. Every building has a different purpose to serve and accommodate people for various reasons.
Residential buildings give shelter to people, whereas commercial buildings are centre for business. Likewise, educational buildings include schools, colleges, universities and place to offer prayer can be called a Church, Temple, and Mosque.
The construction of a building is hugely dependent on the availability of materials, terrain and climatic conditions. For different places, the structure will be different, like in the planes most of the buildings have flat roofs to store water or to be used as terrace. Hilly areas have buildings with sloppy roofs to let the snow or water slide down and not get stored on the roof.
Many countries that keep facing natural disasters like hurricanes, earthquakes, and tornados tend to have wooden houses rather than having a concrete one. That way, if the house gets destroyed during such events, it can be repaired with low money.
