A Paper bag 3D model of a paper carrier bag with textures included. Low Poly.

Paper bags are made of various paper-containing materials - offset and coated paper, kraft paper, cardboard, and also from designer paper (for example, efalin, imitlin, playik) or designer cardboards, as a rule - tinted in mass.

Handles on paper bags are of three types - rope (polypropylene, polyester, cotton), twine and paper.

Rope handles are made, as a rule, from polypropylene, polyester or cotton yarn by weaving a cord 3–10 mm thick. There are also handles made from satin ribbons. Bags with rope handles can be made with or without grommets (picollo).

Paper twine handles are made of twisted twine (made from Kraft).

Paper pens are made from kraft strips folded at two points.

Printing on paper bags is of various types: offset, silk-screen printing, flexography, embossing.

Offset printing is carried out on paper sheets, when the package is still unassembled. Offset printing is advantageous to produce when applying full-color printing, for example, photographs, or when the circulation exceeds 500 pieces. In smaller editions it is advantageous to use digital printing.

Silk-screen printing can be applied both on ready, already collected paper bags, and on paper sheets. Silk-screen printing is ideal when the image on the package is simple, for example, a logo, and the circulation does not exceed 1000 pieces.

Flexography can also be applied to finished packages or to paper sheets prior to package assembly. But unlike silk-screen printing, flexography allows applying both a simple image (with small runs of 1000 pieces directly on a package) and complex full-color images of photographic quality (with large runs drawing on paper before assembling the packages).

The stamping is carried out only on printed sheets. Suitable if you need to select any part of the picture. Embossing can be performed on top of offset printing or screen printing. In accuracy, after lamination of circulation.

From the point of view of the cost of printing on paper bags, the most expensive type is embossing, then silk-screen printing, then with a large margin in the direction of decreasing cost, flexography and offset follow.
