The Airbus A319 is a member of the middle and middle range of the Airbus A320 family, a narrow-gauge, passenger two-engine jet aircraft manufactured by Airbus. The A319 accommodates up to 160 passengers and is able to cover a distance of 3,700 nm (6,900 km; 4,300 mi). The final assembly of the aircraft is carried out in Hamburg, Germany. In December 2010, Airbus announced the launch of the development of a new generation of family A320 - A320neo (option with new engines, new engine option). Similarly, the reduced version of the fuselage, the A319neo offers more energy-efficient engines, coupled with improved glider design and new wing fins, named in the Airbus Sharklets. The airline will save up to 15% of fuel. The A319neo is the least popular model of the Airbus A320neo family, having an overall order of only 58 ships as of September 30, 2006, compared to 3,444 - A320neo and 1,310 - A321neo.
