High detailed model of the character Plankton created at 3ds max and textured with render Vray 1.5.
Most parts of the model have been created as SubDivision/Turbosmooth surface. This means using the 3dSMax version you can change
the resolution/smoothness of the surface very easy. Using turbosmooth or meshsmooth your model will have more resolution.

Plankton are the diverse collection of organisms that live in large bodies of water and are unable to swim against a current. The individual organisms constituting plankton are called plankters. They provide a crucial source of food to many small and large aquatic organisms, such as bivalves, fish and whales. Planktonic organisms include bacteria, archaea, algae, protozoa and drifting or floating animals
Let’s start with some facts about plankton:
1. Plankton are a diverse group of organisms defined by their inability to swim actively against a current, rather than by biological factors.
2.Plankton comes from the Greek word planktos, meaning “wanderer”.
3.Some organisms are only considered plankton for a certain part of their lifecycle.
4.Plankton vary in size from microscopic diatoms to jellyfish that can be several feet long.
5.Most plankton are less than an inch long.
6.There are two main types of plankton: phytoplankton and zooplankton.
