The well differs from a well in that it is much wider because it is digging, as a rule, manually. A popular way to determine the location for the well is dowsing. Methods of engineering geophysics, such as electrical exploration and seismic exploration, allow you to trace the position of groundwater in the plan and select the best places for good placement. Ground waters are allocated by lowering the electrical resistivity to 10 - 50 Ohm * m and increasing the velocity of the longitudinal wave to the level of 1 600 - 1 800 m/s.
