High resolution geometry, useful for near renders. Enable Two Sided rendering in your rendering application. The 3ds Max 8 material setup, textures are included, has the grass material set to 2-sided rendering. These preview images were rendered in 3ds Max 8, scanline renderer, with basic lighting, nothing fancy. User will need to light the grass from their own scene and rendering setup. You may need to reloadreassign the textures after loading the file, same goes for the 3DS and OBJ formats. Included is a simple ocacity map, not applied in the rendered images, for the leaf shaders. Use the opacity map if youd like to smooth out renders of the leaves at a distance, giving the look of extra details. All items have UVs too.
The Mental Ray Render Test image used basic indirect lighting methods, and, if needed, a more complex shading setup. All textures required to create more advanced shading networks are provided, user may want to increase the complexity of the shaders using their own software and workflow of choice.
Simply import the item set into your scene and start positioning, cloningcopying. As mentioned, all models in this product are unique.
This model includes an opacity map for the plant stem material. You may need to invert the opacity map if your 3D application handles map transparency differently.
