3D Model by Panaristi

Originally modelled in cinema4D. Detailed enough for close-up renders. The zip-file contains bodypaint textures and standard materials.

Messerschmitt Bf.109 3D model - single-engine fighter, in service with the Luftwaffe and the Air Force of various countries for almost 30 years. Depending on the modification, it was used as a day fighter (including specialized modifications for low altitudes and a family of high-altitude fighter versions), day and night fighter-interceptor, fighter-attack aircraft, the fighter-bomber, fighter-photo reconnaissance, and photo reconnaissance without armament (including high-altitude), as well as a training fighter. He was one of two main fighters of the Luftwaffe, the most massive aircraft of Germany throughout the Second World War, as well as the most massive fighter in history.

According to the number of cars produced (as of April 14, 1945, only in Germany - 30,573 pieces - including spare parts kits for airplanes, which were about 1/6 counted as produced airplanes; total production - taking into account the release in Spain in 1944-1958 and post-war Czechoslovakia in 1945-1948 — more than 33,000 copies, there is also information that the total production of aircraft of the Bf.109 family was 34,826 or even 34,852 copies) is one of the most massive aircraft in history, second only to the attack aircraft Il -2 (36,163 cars) and a Cessna 172 Skyhawk light general-purpose aircraft. Sometimes you can find the statement that the training aircraft, and later - including the U-2 night bomber (Po-2), also exceeded the production volumes of Bf.109 (figures up to 40 thousand issued by the U-2 are called). But this does not find confirmation in Soviet sources estimating the production of U-2 in approximately 33,000 cars.
