Triumph Rocket III Touring 2013
This model was made in 3ds Max 2010, which ensures compatibility from that version onwards.
The geometry is mostly comprised of quads.
-The motorcycle is modelled to real size, and the scene is set in milimetres (mm)
-All objects are properly named for their easy identification
-All textures used and necessary for this model are included in each .rar file
-The .MAX file includes a Brazil r/s version, with the materials used for the previews above.
-A version with standard materials is also included, in case you prefer not to use Brazil r/s.
-The bodywork paint is a material without bitmaps, which means the color can be immediately changed if needed.
-The geometry allows further smoothing if a finer detail level is needed.

The Rocket III project started in 1998 led by Triumph Product Range Manager Ross Clifford and began with tons of research especially within the US, where big cruisers were selling pretty well.
In spite of heavy sell research, the Rocket III has had difficulty finding its niche. Originally intended to enter the US’s lucrative cruiser market, the Triumph struggled to find acceptance among Harley Davidson’s ultra-traditional riders, who have barely come to terms with Harley Davidson’s own V-Rod. The 2009 Thunderbird competes more successfully with Harley Davidson bikes.
Triumph began developing the Rocket III Touring version in February 2004 following the launch of the first model, to focus on the larger cruiser market which represents 50% of all US motorcycle sales. As well as a new design for the steel frame and swinging arm, the Touring model has more torque at lower revs 150 lb-ft @ 2500rpm, but less horsepower at the top end 106 hp @ 6,000 rpm. New features include tank mounted instruments and a scrolling turn on the handlebar to set the clock and indicate fuel ranges.
