The Sd.Kfz. 251 half-track was an armored fighting vehicle designed and first built by the Hanomag company during World War II. There were four main model modifications (Ausführung A through D), which formed the basis for at least 22 variants.
The initial idea was for a vehicle that could be used to transport a single squad of panzergrenadiers to the battlefield protected from enemy small arms fire, and with some protection from artillery fire.
The first two models were produced in small numbers from 1939. A and B models can be identified by the structure of the nose armor, which comprised two trapezoids - the lower of which had a cooling hatch.

Sd.Kfz. 251 half-track manufactured by Hanomag, Skoda, Horch. The Sd.Kfz. 251 halftrack became known simply as “The Hanomag”. This is the most recognizable infantry vehicle of the Second World War. This vehicle was a familiar sight, widely associated with the German infantry during all of World War Two. It began simply as an armored version of the Sd.Kfz.11 half-tracked artillery tractor . There are four different modifications of Sd.Kfz.251 and each of them has sub-variants .

The Sd.Kfz. 251 half-track is the designation for the infantry version that carried a crew of 12. Included in this kit preview also are models of the Sd.Kfz. 251/4 für I.G.-Munition mittlere Schützenpanzerwagen which was an ammunition supply vehicle for the 7.5 cm le.IG.18 Infantry gun, and the Sd.Kfz 251/6 als Führer Fahrzeug mit Funk Einbauten mittlere Kommando Panzerwagen, a command and radio communications vehicle.

The engine was the same Maybach TUKRM HL 42 (4.17L) as that of the Sd.Kfz.11. This was a petrol 6 cylinder four-stroke watercooled engine with magnetic ignition, providing 100 hp@2800 rpm. It provided a 12.8 hp/tonne power-to-weight ratio, giving an average 52 km/h (32 mph) on roads or very flat terrain, and 21 km/h (13 mph) off-road. This was relatively fast for an armored half-track. Steering was done using the front axle, with a turning radius of 11 m.

As you can see 3D model specifications of Sd.Kfz 251 , you can use it in the military, war projects. This model displays detailed texture & high definition visuals so you can use it where you need to show high definition military objects.
