The legendary Offenhauser race engine, which dominated American racing for many, many years. This model is based upon the 255 cubic inch, Hilborn fuel-injected variety, a configuration commonly used well into the mid 1960?s. Nicely detailed, with some parts a bit excessive, and others not so much. There are no internals, but for someone who may like to take it further, the crankcase and cylinder bores are all opened up, and the combustion chambers, intake and exhaust ports along with the valve seats are all ready to take the missing pieces.
