Chinese developed DF-16 medium range ballistic missile (SRBM) is reported to have a range of 800-1000km. First launched in 2009, the missile may become the replacement for the DF-15 and DF-11 missiles. Initial design shows that the missile may carry one, two or three MIRV system with HE, cluster or nuclear minitions.
