The Argentinean Canopus-2 sounding rocket was a single stage, sub-orbital sounding rocket. Built in the late 1960s, the rocket could launch a 50kg payload to an altitude of 100-150km. The Canopus motor was later used as the first stage in the Rigel multi-stage rocket.
