Placed in service since 1979 by British Aerospace, the Sea Wolf is a self defense interceptor designed to defend against sea-skimming and high angle of attack anit-ship missiles and aircraft. With a flight range of 10km, Sea Wolf uses a proximity fuze or skin-to-skin contact to take out the hostile target.
