Originally modeled in cinema4D. Detailed enough for close-up renders. The zip-file contains bodypaint textures and standard materials.
The last variants produced were the P-47M "hot-rod" ( hot rod optimized for the fastest possible speed), and the P-47N optimized for long-range missions, with the Pacific in mind of those who commissioned it. The P-47M was produced rapidly in the summer of 1944 to counter the threat of the Fieseler Fi 103 ( V-1 ) flying bombs, which the normal P-47 intercepted with great difficulty, and of the various German rocket and reaction fighters. The P-47M was basically a late model of P-47D, which had been coupled with an engine R-2800-57 (C) turbocharger CH-5 with which, previously, the XP-47Jexperimental had managed to fly at 811 km / h. The only other important change was the placement of aerodynamic brakes on the wings, to help reduce the speed at the time of queuing a slower enemy aircraft, before opening fire.
