The Indian Scout is the family of motorcycle manufactured by the Indian Motorcycle Company between 1920 and 1949. Indian Scout 1928 is second Scout Series 101 supplanted the first Scout. They had a dominant share in the Indian market and were immensely popular among the youths.
The Indian Scout 1928 is remembered by many as the greatest motorcycle that Indian ever made. It was developed by Charles B. Franklin – an Irish-born American immigrant who had also designed the previous Scout, and who earlier in his career had been part of the Indian Motorcycle racing team that won 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in 1911. This 101 Scout is a great looker and a great runner so it qualifies for “Show & Go”. This 101 Indian Scout runs excellently and is smooth through the gears.
