Unimog designates a range of multi purpose four wheel drive medium trucks produced by Mercedes-Benz, a division of Daimler AG. The name Unimog is pronounced in German and is an acronym for the German "UNIversal-MOtor-Gerät", Gerät being the German word for machine or device. They are built in the Mercedes truck plant in Wörth am Rhein in Germany.

Unimog is a range of multi-purpose four-wheel drive medium trucks produced by Mercedes-Benz. It is one of the world best light-medium duty rough terrain cargo vehicles developed after 2nd World war. The 435 models (U1300 / U1700) were introduced in 1976 and built until 1988. Unimogs are especially designed to go off-road and therefore have very high ground clearance. This is made possible by portal gears that allow the axles and transmission to be higher than the tires’ centers. Unimogs also feature a flexible frame that allows the tires a wide range of vertical movement to allow the truck to comfortably drive over extremely uneven terrain. The Unimog 435 is the first heavy duty Unimog series which has an ″edgy″ cab. It was built with two different wheelbases, 3,250 mm (128 in) an`d 3,850 mm (152 in).

First developed as an agricultural tractor, the Unimog later proofed to be useful in many tasks, like fire rescue, forest work, rescue and of course the military. The U1300L was introduced in 1975. It’s mainly found with a flatbed on the rear for transport purposes or to carry communication containers. With its 6 Cylinder, 96kw (130 hp) diesel engine, the car runs slightly faster than 80 kilometers per hour with top speed of 96 km/h (60 mph).

3D Model of Unimog U1300L by Mercedes-Benz,was made for use in architectural visualizations and animations that do not increases dramatically the total polygon count in complete scene. It is created accurately, in real units of measurement, qualitatively and maximally close to the original.
