Zhejiang Gonow Auto Co., Ltd.. is a Chinese manufacturer of automobiles, commercial vehicles and SUV's located in Taizhou, Zhejiang. The company markets its products under the brand name Gonow car in the home market and on all other markets as Gonow, shortened.
The company was founded on the 27th September 2003 with headquarters in Taizhou, Zhejiang. The campus covers an area of 268,000 m² . Production began with the Gonow AGE, the initial phase of 60,000 units per year were produced. Gonow enlarged in 2005 for about 351.5 million ¥ its grounds as much as 100 acres and increased production to 200,000 units per year. Furthermore Gonow started a cooperation with the Wuhan Industrial University, which construction of the Gonow Automobile R & D Center took over.
