NOTE (preview images) The test pose preview image have been made with a quick rigged version of the Bear with enhanced contrast and using DOF (increased hair primitives number too) The actual model is NOT rigged. NOTE (shave and haircut): The Fur is made with Shave and Haircut for Maya 8.5 so YOU WOULD NEED THAT MAYA PLUGIN TO RENDER THE FUR OUT. You can decrease the hair primitives to avoid memory issues or increase them for a better quality as long as you have enough memory. The OBJ and FBX formats dont include the Shave and Haircut setup so you can only use the textures. I have included a separate Maya (8.5 mb) file with the hairfur guides (nurbs)
