We should note that there is not and cannot be an ideal program for 3D modeling, animation, rendering (visualization); Each application has its own strengths and weaknesses, not to mention the subjective perception of an application. Nevertheless, the 3ds Max software has a number of objective advantages over similar products, say, Autodesk Maya. If the latter program is strong mainly in animation, then the 3D Studio Max application can easily cope with both the third and the third, that is, it can practically do anything.
