Mudbox has a more limited ability to create a mesh, and you often have to use a ready-made mesh, carefully created in advance in Maya or 3ds Max. Mudbox also uses tight integration with other Autodesk applications in order to simplify the process of working with the mesh. In addition, using the Retopologize function, you can always create simple shapes based on a complex, crocheted pig.
